What to write to summer internship laboratory?thank you/holiday card

I am seriously having trouble coming up with something simple for a late thank you/holiday card for my past internship at a research laboratory. Any ideas? Please no sarcasm.

It's kind of tough, I have no idea what you're like or supervisor is like and the whole situation surrounding that. But it can just be something simple along the lines of:

"I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to intern and gain valuable experience in your laboratory over the summer. I've learned a great deal under your guidance and I wish you the best of luck on your research. Hope you and your loved ones have a happy holiday!"
