Is it worth taking Anatomy and Histology my last semester senior year?

Some say it should help with med school, but my schedule would be sooo nice without the sciences...

Both will be worth taking since you will see both in your first year of med school.

my friend who's a first year says that biochemistry and anatomy and physiology are both realllly helpful classes. but he also said that i should think about not doing either and having fun before the insanity starts. 🙂

Biochemistry, Histology, Developmental/Embryology, Anatomy, and Physiology

are all the most helpful...not in any particular order though

Don't bother. If you want a relaxed semester, have one. You'll be studying anatomy and histology next year, so why start now? If you were a sophomore/junior, I might recommend them, but not now. Relax. Don't burn out before you even start.

Prowler's right. I took anatomy & physiology and pharmacology the year before I started school and really believe that the only classes I took during my undergrad that was worth anything was biochemistry and cell biology. Medical school classes are there to teach you medicine, so don't worry about trying to get a leg-up before matriculating.

I agree with DoctorFunk. I'm really glad I had biochem and cell bio, the other stuff hasn't mattered much. (Didn't take A&P, but can't imagine they would help enough to be worth the hassel).

This doesn't matter in your last term tho. Relax.

diversity your interests, i mean most of the undergraduate courses are pretty "unenlightening".
