My brother in-law took the dat in Nov and then retook it in Feb and started school at UoP in July. So it happens, not that often but it happens.

Oh wow. His original was in November. That's pretty late. Good for him.

i took a re-take in OCT, my 1st one was in July.

But i also had 2 interviews offered even before i took my re-take in OCT. so yes, it possible.

but as with anything, the earlier you take the better

My First DAT was on November 13th, and I totally nailed it, and I got into 3 schools, wait listed at one more, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else do that, it's way too late.

I had my interviews in January and Feb, and then the wait listed one in the first week of March.

I re-took mine on Nov 26th last year and I got 3 interviews in late Feb and March.

so if one took the DAT before Aug and send the score to all the school and received nothing or something how is he suppose to know that he should retake it again. does the school tell them if you meet certain dat score you will get accepted? or how does this work?
