I interviewed at VCOM with a 24 mcat and a 3.6 gpa. and i got rejected. Makes me wonder what went wrong. I cannot really think of anything wrong that i said during the interview. Any help is it hard to get into vcom post interview.

I believe that VCOM is looking for students who are from underserved communities, and who want to be a primary care physician at underserved communities.
are you one of these students?

I hope this will help.

Unfortunately, two statistics and an interview don't equal an acceptance in this crazed process. If it did, TONS more people would be getting in than are currently. Call the ADCOM and ask for an explanation for the rejection. The fact that you were given an interview means that they were at least interested in you on paper. The fact that after the interview you were flat-out rejected and not waitlisted could mean that you said somethign off-putting in the interview, or you rubbed someone the wrong way. This process is so random that it could be really difficult to pin your rejection down to one specific thing. Do you have some other interview forthcoming, or was this your only one? Best of luck to you.
