Just curious what kind of stuff you guys think would make an update letter worthwhile. Obviously a publication or big award would be worth the time. I was thinking of sending one to my top choice school (post-interview) that said I was accepted into 2 honor societies and elected to a leadership position (VP) in another honor society.

I'm planning to send on that describes current publications, studies I'm conducting, and forthcoming articles. I've received conflicting information about providing this info before my interview, so I think I'll write a quick letter afterwards.

Honestly, at this point activities and memberships in student clubs won't make any difference. Keep updates for big things like new grades, publications, etc.

But, there not clubs there honor societies. I know getting in an honor society isn't ground breaking but much bigger deal than club or taking up cross stitching. I didn't even think about grades, is sending in an a copy of your grades a common thing to do?

i recently sent some in detailing that i'm teaching a buttload of mcat classes for tpr, doing research, enrolled in a spanish course, and volunteering at a hospital.

sounded good enough to me at the moment.

edit: i am done with undergrad
