- Revise few subjects of the next semester
- Lose those extra pounds that u gained
- Do an activity of ur interest like art, music ..
- Read other stuff
- or just sit at home, chilling and enjoying urself with nothing to do?

first 4 that you listed, also doing more volunteering and clinical experiences, make money online.

Go through my stockpile of Beers of the Month
Get an Xbox 360 and a box of fruit roll-ups, watch my inner child strive
Hang out with other human beings at night like a normal person in their 20's
Work out to combat the beer & fruit roll-ups.

It's called Winter break 2007 🙂

This is what I did for winter break 2007

1) Worked more
2) Read some books I really wanted to read
3) Hanged out with friends
4) Took Naps after work!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely not a good idea for medical school. In the bizzare world of medicine 3 weeks is less of a break than 10 days. Christmas Eve through New Years Day means you can relax for 10 days. Three weeks means I'll end up working in the mornings, studying in the evenings, and only actually taking 2 days off for Christmas and New Years themselves.

For Undergraduate it's freaking awsome.

i had 7 weeks off. it was terrible--seriously.

i worked, shopped, and took naps. i'm so glad classes are starting again monday.

do you not have friends at home?

I have 5 weeks off. Spent two with my dad, and I'm spending a week in The Netherlands. The other two weeks are work and other chores that need to be done before school starts back up again.

Brrr! It was cold enough HERE! Hope you enjoyed the trip, though.

1. Work 40 hrs/week instead of the 25 I usually work during school.

rest of the time would be spent the same. being with friends, playing music, going out, setting up random dates and chasing girls, reading, "researching on the internet", etc

i just finished my first semester in college and have been pretty bored all break. we got 5 weeks off and we have 2 left.

so far i've mostly did nothing, just chilled out downloaded some episodes of TV shows and watched them, hung out with friends, bought/read a couple of medical books, played PS2, and tomorrow i am heading out west to spend some time with my friend from grammar school. i really wanted to do some volunteer work but that didn't work out now, have to wait till summer.

I want to go to a school that gives you 5 weeks off from school for winter break!!!!

This year was just a fluke for us. We always start the day after Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and this year it was a week later than in years past. Usually we get about a month... December 15th til January 15, with us ending on a Saturday and starting on a Tuesday.

Not to hijack the thread (it's semi-related but I'm currently doing this during my break) but does anyone know the easiest way to transfer my Itunes library from my old laptop to my new one? I started out by just transferring the songs on a CD, but for some reason my new laptop started reading the disks as blank, so I've only been able to transfer a couple hundred songs. I'm sure there is an easy way to do this, but my knowledge is lacking...

Get a USB drive and goto your iTunes music folder and copy it onto the USB drive. You'll probably have to put like 2 gigs of music, transfer it, then another 2 gigs etc etc, if you have a lot of songs.

For break I watched movies, not random movies but ones that everyone should watch because they make you more cultured, like Citizen Kane, Shawshank Redemption, Schindler's List, Rush Hour 3.

Errr I am on break right now, visited the hospital where I volunteered (was bored), became a nurse assistant and was still given nothing to do...and now they asked me to come in this monday, to do more of nothing.

Except I forgot and its now 2am.

Wonderfreaking break. :scared:

Other than that I have been sleeping 14 hrs a day during break. 👍
