Hey guys,
I have a friend who recently applied to medical school, and I saw firsthand the process of entering courses using the AMCAS grid. I am aware that ALL college courses taken during high school are entered as "High School" status, but what if a class is started under dual enrollment and finished after high school graduation?
I took three classes to finish my Associates degree during Summer A this year. I started them under dual-enrollment status in May, but I finished them after my high school graduation in June. They are listed as dual-enrollment courses under my college transcript. Would they still be considered "High school" courses if they're listed as dual enrollment courses, but technically credit was earned after high school? Just curious since I know AMCAS asks for high school graduation date.
Sorry, just being a bit neurotic in calculating my GPA trend. I'm hoping those courses don't calculate into my freshmen year as I'm trying to show improvement.
