OK, I have an interview in 2 weeks and now want to reschedule it. What's an acceptable reason for doing so??

The real reason is that I'll have a decision on my first choice school right around that date, and since I waited on buying the plane tickets they're getting really expensive. I'd rather wait and see if I get in at my first choice, because then there's no reason to even go. But obviously if I don't get in at #1, I'll still want to do my interview later.

Any ideas???

Thanks!

OK, nevermind my post above. I think I was delusional 🙂

I must have had sticker shock from the airfare or something!
Of course I'm going to my interview...

But I'll be darn glad when this insanity is over and I can stop bleeding money!!!

Actually, what you're saying makes sense. I don't have much money to burn myself and I know that if I were close to hearing from my #1 school, I'd want to wait to hear from them to interview at my other schools.

Thats what I did.

I waited until I heard from my second choice school, and then after I found out I was accepted, cancelled my interview and didn't have to spend the money buying a plane ticket.

I reschedule and interview so that I could wait for the responce from another school. I didn't give the school a reason for the rescheduling. I just said something's come up and I need a different date. They said ok.
