What's clinical experience??

What do people mean when they say they had X hours of clinical experience??

Last year, during my winter break, I had a chance to shadow a urologist... yes a UROLOGIST! I shadowed him 6hrs a day, 4 days a week for a month. I saw everything from circumcision to prostatectomy. It was awesome. Now I'm interested in being a urologist even tho i get a lot of flak from my friends.

Is this clinical experience?? Or should i be doing paperwork or something?? Thanks!

I would say that you've had plenty of clinical experience...

Clinical=patients. For example, if you do clinical research, it's research that is patient-centred.
