Is applying in July and early august late???
I also askNo, it's not late. It's average-ish.
My bad. lstone13 answered my question while I was writing it.In real life or SDN?
All of my answers are reality-based, not SDN-based, unless stated otherwise. 😛
The important thing is to get secondaries submitted early. Early primary won't do you any good if you don't submit the secondaries early. For secondaries, I would say that in general, before mid-August is early, mid-August to mid-September is average, and after mid-September is late.
im doing some research for a buddy of mine.
He is taking the mcat june 30. Basically is that going to be late for him?
Also, this question is for me, but can medical schools do interviews on fridays and saturdays? Also, can you be accepted without an interview?

With access to SDN, he can even have all his secondaries written before he receives them or his MCAT score, so the turnaround will be immediate. Submitting secondaries at the end of July is about as early as you can get, so he'll be in good shape.
How does SDN help? So you can send in your AMCAS before the you get the MCAT score back? But the medical schools dont ask for your secondaries until they receive MCAT score right?
