What's considered "late" for applying this cycle?

I just submitted my AMCAS application last night just as soon as I got my MCAT score back.

Am I late (seeing the app opened up in June)? And how about for osteopathic schools (Once I get my PS finalized I'll be sending that in too)?

Nope. You won't be super-early per se, but definitely not late.

Also, what's it matter? It is what it is. No time machines, so why drive yourself nuts worrying about it?

Normal standards: October/November.

SDN standard: July/August.

Depends on your stats. I was only worried about applying by 6/1 because I wasn't happy with my MCAT.

I've seen people with good numbers apply in August or September and still manage to get into school of their choice.
