I'm a pre med with 2 years of college to go and I just want to be sure this is what I want to do before I commit my whole degree to it....

I'm interested in helping people with liver and kidney problems so internal medicine really interests me. I'm also interested in cancer.

basically I'm curious what is a work day like for an internal med doctor? I know they can work 7 on and 7 off and I'm interested in how many hours you work a week.. but I mostly want to know what do you do?

how does your work day start, what do you do all day, etc. how is your job satisfaction? if you don't want to work in a hospital what are your other options? thanks
