Thanks for letting me know there was a verdict...what's *my* diagnosis if I'm checking for new posts from Anasazi before checking CNN?

Now, I think that it's supposed to be unethical to give a diagnosis on a public figure without personally examining the patient, but let's just consider this a practice run at the video portion of the Boards...

Clearly it's Body Dysmorphic Disorder, and probably Impulse Control Disorder NOS. Probable Cluster B traits. God-knows-how-many-plastic-surgeries on Axis III, along with some IBS, I think. Axis IV is severe due to his legal issues, obviously, not to mention whatever "family of origin issues" have gotten him this far. He's probably still GAFfing pretty good though--high 60s.

That is the really sad part about this. If he had been convicted on like 1 count of indecent exposure, he would have to proove to the parole board that he is not a danger and he would have to submit to regular interviews etc. His name would be on a public database and he would be ineligible to drive the freaking school bus. But now, that they let him off on even the stuff that was forensically proven (giving alcohol to minors), he can do whatever he wants.

I think he better moves to a different county. That Snedden guy has him firmly in his sights. And he knows, MJ will relapse, he just has to wait.

Given his behavior over the last 25 years, I'm suspecting UNDERmedication for most of those years.

take it easy, tazotart. You should try going to medical school and/or work at hospitals. this is nothing in comparison to the sadistic/cruel comments I heard as a medical student/resident amongst surgeons, GIs, anesth., urologists, etc.. The nurses/lpns can be just as cruel/sadistic. Characters like nurse hawthorne rarely exist in real life!

Though I do understand the brevity of some of the comments, I'm on tazotart's side on this one.

Who really knew the real Jackson? His public persona that we percieve and what was really going on with him may have been very very different. I'll completely admit that with my own colleagues in person, there may be some quick comments on the order of what's been posted above. There's been so many jokes, rumors and strangeness with Jackson, its pretty much a cultural norm.

However, did micheal jackson demonstrate behavior SO bizarre and an affection for children SO beyond the cultural norm that it warranted alot of the suspicion (thats sometimes went too far)? Absolutely!
