What's the average age of a first year med student?

My school has tons of (unmarried) people in their late 20s, and a few in their early 30s.
You don't really notice after a while, though initially people kind of sorted into their age groups without even asking, mostly because people fresh out of undergrad just act kinda like, well...college kids.
