i ahve a question:
i was hired full time in a lab on the terms that were not discussed with me during the interview.
the pay is only $13/hour and no overtime pay while my job requires a lot of overtime. Also they hired me on temporary terms (they said for the first couple of month to see how things go before they make a final decision)., This means no tuition reimbursement for me during those months and I have no guarantees that they will make me full time (real one w/ all the benefits).
So, my question is- am I flipping out for no reason? or do these conditions do seem unreasonable? and how hard is it really to find a research job just in case I want to look around?
