The cisterna chyli is at the lower end of the thoracic duct. 🙂 [Answer: a. cisterna chyli]
 
correct me if i'm wrong, but in addition to that being the answer, I thought I remember from school that this is also part of the reason that a high fat diet is so bad...

the fat particles leave the small intestine into the thoracic duct and aren't ever really metabolized. then they are essentially dumped right into the subclavian vein.... which can of course lead to blockage
