What's the difference between public health and community health?

Sorry for the rookie question. I've heard both of these terms used in reference to different schools, and wanted to know if they mean the same thing or if "community health" is a different field/degree in some way from public health.

Pemulis,

"Community health" is a component of public health. There are some public health programs that offer a specialization into community health which varies depending on the program. For example, community health may include health education/health promotion/behavior, disease prevention, and even as far as maternal and childhealth.

You might want to look at the different Public Health schools and see what their emphasis/degrees are in and go from there. Good luck!
