what's the earliest date any medical school starts in the fall

I want to do a year long program starting as late as possible in the summer but I don't want it to go past the date that school starts for ms1's. So if anyone knows the school with the earliest start date please let me know.

I don't know for sure, but I've heard Case starts as early as the middle of July. 😱

There's ~158 US schools, why not focus on the start date(s) of the schools u intend to apply to??

Most schools are August, some July.. MSAR has the info for Allos..

I believe that Florida State starts end of may/beginning of june.

Case sent us an email and they're starting on July 8th this year, with the white coat ceremony being on July 11th. This should definitely be on the earlier side of things, although you should still check the schools you're planning to apply to. On the other hand, why not start your year long program earlier? It'll be nice to have a bit of breathing room before going off to med school... even if it's just some extra time to visit family, travel for a week, look for an apartment or move in.
