What's the longest you went before getting an II?

It's been almost 3 months since I completed my secondaries and besides getting one II in August, I've gotten nothing but silence. I'm really beginning to worry,

Last cycle I submitted a secondary to Einstein in early September, was marked complete at the end of October, and got an II in February. I interviewed in March and did not get accepted. But that's Einstein and they have a weird timeline.

The conventional wisdom on SDN is that if you don't have any II by Thanksgiving, you should worry. You already have one, so that doesn't apply to you. But also since only 40% of all applicants get accepted each year, you should always be working on improving your app for reapplication just in case.

Last cycle I was complete at NYMC in August. Got an II in April.

20 years.

This thread went pretty much how I expected.
Ask dumb questions get dumb answers. But in all seriousness think of your app as a radioactive element and II as counts on a Geiger counter. Based on the strength of an app and school selection we know you should receive on average x amount of IIs during any given app cycle. The timing of those IIs is completely random. The duration between counts is unpredictable and not likely to give you any meaningful information or hope. You could receive 3 the first week of August and not receive any throughout the rest of the cycle or you could receive three spaced out by three months each. Furthermore every applicants app is a different element , some with more radioactivity then others and different school selection.
