A program that I applied to contacted me asking only when I was taking Step 2. I told them I was planning on taking Step 2 CS in November and Step 2 CK in December. Since then, no response from them.

I thought the whole thing to be highly unusual. I've never been contacted by a program that I applied to (for residency, medical school, or whatever else) unless they were offering an interview.

are you an IMG? thats the only reason I see for them calling you, IMG's have to pass the test before certain deadline for ROL.
