Hey does anyone know what the leaving group ability is for sn1 reactions? I know for sn2 the leaving group ability is I>BR>Cl> F. but what is it for sn1? or it the opposite or the same? Thankssss:luck:

You want something that will be very stable after it leaves. Therefore the best leaving groups are the ones that are the weakest nucleophiles.
