Has anyone else not heard word back from Loyola? I've been waiting and haven't heard anything from them. Last time I called, last month, they said they were still reviewing my app. As a Loyola undergrad student, u'd think they'd at least consider my application, especially considering I have gotten accepted to two other schools....*sigh*...so frustrating...

Loyola had placed me on hold for quite awhile too, and I had been accepted to 3 places already. I kept calling them, and then I think in January when I called, the secretary asked me, "Are you still interested in coming here?" and when I said yes, she said she'd make a note to the admissions committee, and the next day I received an interview invite. Maybe you could exhibit your interest? I do know that they're only interviewing for waitlisted spots at this point. If you don't want to waste your day interviewing for a waitlisted spot, I'd say to just forget about it.

Sent my secondary in on sept. 18 and haven't heard a word since. Loyola can bite me. In the mean time I have gotten interviews at all 6 of the other schools to which I sent secondaries, and I have 3 acceptances. I was really interested in Loyola and thought it would be nice living in chicago since I have lived in Kentucky my whole life, but oh well. I have decided that if they do invite me to interview, I will call them and just laugh into the phone and maybe say something nasty. No just kidding, I wish I had the guts to do something like that. Yeah and another friend of mine hasn't heard anything from them either, so it's not just you, there are plenty of us.

Loyola interviews until the end of April. Although these interviews are only for the waitlist, I know of people getting accepted in early May after interviewing in late April. Loyola is also notorious for inviting people in for interviews (the admissions office actually calls) with ridiculously short notice--they let me know 10 days in advance and they know that I live in NYC. So if you are banking on Loyola, don't give up hope yet.
