The process was so smooth today that it makes me wonder what exactly happened yesterday? I mean barely anyone got their apps in yesterday, so they probably had a similar amount of people applying today. But there were only very minor slowdowns today.

In any case, glad my apps are in. Good luck everyone, I hope all of you match into your dream program!

They bought more server hosting from amazon or something. Seriously, that's probably all it was before. It's very unlikely that there was a major problem with the program itself that they managed to fix in less than a day. They just couldn't handle the traffic and were too cheap to pay for more hosting ahead of time.

You see this all the time on reddit when little sites who haven't bought that much hosting make the front page and get the reddit "hug of death".
