Okay, I sent them my primary app in July and haven't heard back. This is the only school that I haven't heard back from. Has anyone received a secondary/interview invite?

Last year I had received interviews from KCOM, MSUCOM, WesternU, PCOM, CCOM, UMDNJ-SOM, and a couple MD schools and still hadn't heard a word from NYCOM. In fact, I held acceptances to WesternU and MSUCOM when I withdrew from PCOM and UMDNJ's waitlists and still hadn't heard a word from NYCOM. That's just my experience. However, from what I learned last year they do run later than many other schools, just be patient. Send in your LORs if that's what they want and maybe even a letter of update/interest.
I hear many great things from their students and about the school from others. Best of luck and I hope you hear good news soon. 👍

Last year, I never heard anything from them. In fact, I still haven't heard anything. I never recieved my rejection letter.

I have an MSU interview coming up. What can you tell me about the school. Do you like it? I have also interviewed at LECOM-Pa and will be interviewing at LECOM-Bra and Tucom-Ca soon. Do you know how they would compare to MSU? I hear MSU is really great, except that most of their graduates match instate (90%). I am hesitanting about that. Also, does school go year round? How often do you have exams? (Lecom Lecture based had exams every week while PBL had exams spread further apart). Any kind of info on MSU would be great.

The earliest interview is actually November 30th... Fozziewan has one on that date... I wish I were him.

I was offered an interview for 11/30 but I chose to withdraw my application and cancel my interview since UNECOM accepted me. I decided to go with my top choice school. Maybe they'll let someone reschedule and take over my time slot on the 30th? Ready....wait for it....ok NOW everyone flood NYCOM with e-mails and phone calls!

I wish you all the best! Now, if I could just find where I hid that $500 deposit...

for NYCOM I think you absolutely, positively, for sure need a LOR from an OSTEOPATH..I could be 0.1% wrong though.
If anyone is at NYCOM and got in without an OSTEOPATHIC LOR pls respond.

for NYCOM I think you absolutely, positively, for sure need a LOR from an OSTEOPATH..I could be 0.1% wrong though.

Its not required, but it is recommended.

Hi, Currently a NYCOM student... No you do not absolutely need LOR from DO, but nice to have. We have been informed interview officially starts on NOv. 29th. Hope that helps... and no don't be worried, they take their time with everything.

Don't worry guys... NYCOM has a habit of interviewing late, they know students want to go there.. so they can play the wait game.. usually you will be notified about 4-6 weeks later post interview if you've been accepted or not..
