It looks as though everyone accepted to UCSF have been given scholarships. I know im not being given a scholarship, but I still havent heard from them, is this a bad sign? 🙁

i'm in the same boat as you.. does your infosource say "under review" or something like that too? i'm a non-resident, so it kinda make sense but still, you know. 😡

Did you already interview at UCSF? If so, then I would e-mail Daliah. Then again, I think everyone that got accepted this week also got a phone call from Dr. Alexander. So, check your voice-mails too.

Good luck! :luck:

My file still says "waiting additional information" while I've sent everything including fees and secondary out two weeks ago. Is this abnormal? And I've been calling but they don't give useful inofrmation. Who should I email to ask about my status? It just seems like everyone is busy busy busy~ what a hectic life 😱

Profchaos, dont' worry much. when i sent my stuff in early oct, it took them about 3-4 weeks to process and call me to schedule an interview..

My file has been complete since 9/16, I am a California resident and as you can see from my stats below I feel that I am a pretty good candidate for UCSF. However I have not even been invited for an interview. I've tried to call, email, talk to someone who can give me any info to no avail. I've pretty much given up hope. At least I got into UOP with scholarship and UCLA last week. I really wanted to at least have to option to go to UCSF.... oh well.

same here. out of state, but still hopefull. i remember dr alexander saying in my interview that only 25 are accepted on dec 1, for the 83 slots. anyone know when the next date is that ucsf accepts another group?

i can almost guarantee that you will get an interview (and probably an acceptance) from ucsf.......i still believe in that communication business we talked about before...but even if you don't, you already got accepted into great schools...so you really have nothing to worry about...congrats!

anyone know when ucsf plans on sending out another wave of acceptance letters, or approx what date it plans on filling its class by?

i tried calling them, but the answering machine just directs us to infosource...very frustrating.

hello, first off, congrats on your acceptance to ucla. but, since you went thru the entire process, do u know how strictly the committe checks on the volunteer stuff and the dental related stuff....becyuase i have done all the activities, but some of them the addresses i don't know and some of my advisors no longer work there. does the committee call each place?

Hmm, good question. I highly doubt ucsf (and all other schools for that matter) would go through all that trouble to contact all my advisors. Then again, I got letters of recommendation from most of my advisors.

As long as your application makes sense to adcoms, I don't think they would call up each individual. That just sounds too painful.

I interviewed at UCSF on Nov 19 and got an acceptance call from Dr. Alexander on Dec 9th. Hope that helps. Im not sure if I was part of a new batch after Dec 1. or part of the Dec. 1 acceptances. Good luck
