I have always wanted to be a dentist. However, with my GPA I feel that I have a weak chance of getting accepted. I'm taking the DAT next week and hoping for the best. I have been studying for it about two months now. But even if I get AA 20+ I would still be considered a weak to average applicant. I have a B.S in Biochemistry my oGPA is 3.2 and my sGPA is 3.0.
I have been looking for jobs, and guess what NO JOBS for entry level AT ALL.
So I was wondering what is your back plan if you don't get into dentistry?

Keep going 🙂 If anything goes wrong this cycle, take post-bacc classes, boost your GPA, retake DAT if necessary and you'll make it! Don't give up on your dreams. I read somewhere today that if Honey Boo Boo could become famous, you can do anything 😛 This really cheered me up!

There are schools that will consider a lesser sGPA with a high DAT score. Message me and I can give some advice. Don't give up on your dream. I have a student who tried for 5 years, she never quit. She found a few weeks ago she was accepted at NYU..Her sGPA was similar to yours.

Wishing you the best..
