How do you post a video....I click the button for you tube....I insert the link it aint working....so angry....

This is the first video I've posted so hopefully it works.

I found this song 4 days before I took the MCAT for the first time. It's been my favorite ever since, not to mention it really gets me through the tough times with a few listens. Ilaria Graziano has a great voice and it's a shame I can't seem to find her CD on Amazon. I might try again later.

I enjoy all of Yoko Kanno's work, but her GitS OSTs are really something else.

One of my absolute favorite songs--it MOTIVATES me. Hardly anyone has ever heard it. I love this song. Video sorta sux but the song is fabulous IMHO. Pump this sh** up with a couple 350Watt subs in your car.

Find your youtube, right click and copy the address at the top in the address line of your browser. Then open a "reply" and go to the second to the end icon that says "youtube" click on that and your cursor will be oriented between the two bracketed youtube thingies (high tech here). Then just paste in your address and hit reply. Works every time. Hope you enjoyed Lo-Fidelity Allstars. I LOVE that song. Turn up the volume!!

When....You find your youtube video....look for "share"...copy link and insert between the sdn youtube tags...

Sherruns way sounds easier than my way....tho..

The break-down at 2:20 with the harmonies, 3 part guitar parts and double bass drum action just hits me hard and gets me pumped 😀. Plus, I love their whole between the heart and synapse theme. The guys in the band are such dorks :laugh:.

stars are like my fav band followed by tegan and sara. I once got a friend to drive 6 hours all the way to DC to see them. And in a couple of weeks I'm driving about a good 11 hours to buffalo to catch them live again. I know, Im a show ***** 😀.

OH, and In May My friends are driving to Road Island to see TREOS (The other band I posted) for their last show ever.

OMG! I LOVE YOU! Regina Spektor!! Shes my home girl heheh. I'm seeing her play a free instore on the 19th of April. I have seen this girl live like 5 times. She still amazes me every time😍😍

Omashu, do you live anywhere near nyc? if so shes playing at record store in Williamsburg Brooklyn (its got a lounge in the back). Ive gone to many underground shows there. And many times they have free pizza and Newcastle beer...YUM.
 
i think i read the thread wrong.. i was thinking more like pre-sports game or pre-test pump up song, not inspiration song 😛 i take back the weak song comment.

tex triathlete, good choice. by the way, i'll be visiting GA-PCOM here soon for their open house.. i'm hoping it's everything you say and more. i live about 15 minutes away from their campus, but this will be my first time actually visiting it.. even though i've shadowed a neurosurgeon that teaches there (who talks up the school) and worked alongside some PCOM kids in the ER at gwinnett medical center nearby

I see a lot of you guys picked some more upbeat songs, even a trance one! I was pretty heavy into trance a few years back but I might get back into the scene after hearing that.

Trance is the song that resonates in the fiber of our very souls...bringing us from streaming tears and angry fears to joyful cheers. Harmony at its finest.

The thing I like about Opus 17 is that intially it starts out building up and there is a feeling of the relative calm before the storm. You see it approaching on the horizon, but there is still a peacefulness (as I slowly move my head and torso to the rythm). Then suddenly, BAM!!! I hit the very obstacle that I am to overcome and weather through it. A third of the way into the song, the gentle flow returns and a more confident clam of having survived permeates the air. ~4:35 I get stronger and stronger, more determined for what I have to do. ~5:30 I push forward against the next obstacle and know that I CAN!! From 7:23-9:07, there is a general lull...a time to contemplate and organize my very being. 9:08 starts the content confidence that I now have, the veritable 'I shall previal mood', and gradually it peters out into the silence of reality.




So yeah....quite the inspirational song.
