Oh hai thurr everyone.

Just wanted to know the philosophies of my fellow SDNers. Not looking for a debate, I'd just like to know your general outlook on life. Me: Optimist and Pragmatist (not religious or spiritual though) If your philosophy is akuna matata then that's swell as well.😀 If I could get some medical students to comment also that would be great too.

Hmm, since this is a pretty ambiguous prompt:

Politics: economic conservative, social libertarian

Human nature: most individuals are quasi-hedonistic, takes a conscious and consistent effort to be anything else.

Outlook: I am generally a cautious optimist (ie, plan for the worst and hope for the best)

Religion: I am an atheist --> no good reason to do (or not do) any particular action (or series of actions) aside from their effects on you and your immediate surroundings.

Sorry. I guess I should have been more clear. While I was doing an assignment for a philosophy class, I just decided to ask the forum what their outlook on life was, especially because we are all possible future physicians. I was going to specifically ask for religion, but didn't know if I could and/or I didn't want to start a religious debate. Generally, most people believe that religion is tied into overall outlook, even though that's not necessarily so.

My Outlook is Microsoft.

I really hope "a whales vagina" is referring to San Diego!

Duh. Apparently you guys don't have enough leather-bound movies to get an awesome reference.

Alright, go easy on the blonde:

Using that as a template...

Politics: Liberal
Human Nature: Non-indulgent
Outlook: Realist
Religion: Atheist, anti-theist
