I was just curious to see what others felt their strongest and weakest points were in preparing for the MCAT. In other words, what do you feel you know best / least.

For Biological Sciences my weakest section is Microbiology & Genetics. ...haven't studed orgo yet. My strongest is the nervous system / endocrine system.

For Physical Sciences ... pretty much everything is my weakest since I barely studied it and forgot most stuff lol.

Can't say what "was" as I will be starting to study in about a week. 🙂

However, I already know my weaknesses. Biology is by far my weakest areas.. I got A/A- in Bio I & II in undergrad but I felt like I just memorized without retaining anything. So, that's where I'll be studying mostly and I have multiple prep books just for Bio.

My strongest would be organic chemistry and physics.

I think my strength are the sciences in general. Orgo and Gen chem I'm great with. Physics and Bio I'm good with I just need to review the content.

Verbal I am just awful, I shouldn't even be allowed to take it

sweet with verbal (average 12-14 on aamc)
Bio im ok (10-12)
PS im blah (9-11)

hopefully I get the highest of my ranges? 😀

Strongest: Verbal
Weakest: Physical Sciences (mainly physics)

I'm surprised Verbal is not everyone's strongest point.

My strongest used to be bio, but after practicing and practicing verbal, verbal became my strongest. For PS, I hated lenses/mirrors. For bio, I hated embryology. For verbal, I disliked philosophy passages. I'd say my worst subject, sadly, was probably bio (sad because bio is my major).

I really detest art passages in verbal... Everything else is usually really interesting, but I honestly could care less about art (and I cant even fake it like I can with some of the natural sciences passages).
