A few Ws on your transcript won't kill you, even though we know you're trying to protect your GPA.
A more important question is: WHY are you getting a C? Med school will be harder than anything you're taking now.

@Goro I am about 3 weeks into an accelerated 7 week course. We do about 3 chapters and a test per day. I have made A's on every assignment in lecture and lab but received a 0 on an exam for not being in attendance. Syllabus clearly states no make up for any reason including medical. As a Non trad my GPA can't take any additional blemishes and I didn't know if it would be better to suck it up and push through or write it off and start fresh next semester.
Not one to make excuses, just trying to figure out the best plan of action to move forward.

Personally, if a B is salvageable then I would try to do that, but if you don't think you can pull it off I would take the W and don't make those mistakes again.

Drop the class. And next time, don't take the accelerated schedule. I could see taking an accelerated summer class like that, but there's no good reason to put yourself under this kind of pressure during the regular semester.

@QofQuimica My local CC changed to a compressed 7 week semester for all classes. Very experimental. I believe they are actually the only school in the country to do so right now.
Still not sure how I feel about the compressed schedule. Happy to get the prereqs done quickly but it definitely has its disadvantages. Not so bad for bio, chem, etc. but I can imagine orgo would be pretty intense at that rate.
I went to the CC to save $ but I'm not so sure this new schedule will be very practical for my entire DIY postbac.
Thoughts and opinions appreciated...
