Asked this on wrong forum, no responses yet. I want to get a good sense of when I should have my secondary pre-writes completed by. I'll be submitting by today and most likely getting in by the 29th. Do secondaries come right after that? Within a week? month? Just trying to get a sense.
How long should I take to finish a secondary? I read that ideally you should send them back within a week of when you received them. I'm just really worried that my letters might hold up my application. I guess I should go chase after my professors one more time.

I believe it depends on the school. Some send you an email with instructions for the secondary right after AMCAS verification, and others take a while. My friends all submitted their AMCAS last year within the first week of June, but a few of their secondaries didn't come in until the end of July.
Last year, AMCAS was sent out on June 17th to schools. I received probably 3 secondaries immediately on that day. Assuming you are verified before AMCAS submits on June 29th, you might be getting some secondaries right on that first day. I had a good amount of secondaries 2 weeks in, and a majority of my schools after 4 weeks.
