I am wondering whether that 50 people, who have submitted already, have seen their DAT scores on aadsas before doing so??

Why would one have to call ADA to send scores to AADSAS? Because AADSAS does not say this in their directions, nor have I ever heard this before.

I called the ADA and AADSAS and thats what they told me. It was mainly the ADA and the man I spoke with was extremely rude. He told me the ADA needs to 'release them' and the only way to do that is request an official form, so then I asked if you put your DENTPIN into AADSAS what happens and he said "then they have your DENTPIN" and I asked how that helped me and he said it doesnt.

Maybe they lied because they're bitter about losing so much money... ??

I just emailed AADSAS again to make sure tho. I'll let you guys know what they told me! I hope I'm wrong, just out 25 dollars, and the rest of you can get your scores up

I submitted June 4th and in the email AADSAS customer service said

"For those submitted June 4th, DAT scores should be imported and listed in your

so unless they are not up by then don't worry about it! 😀 i'm assuming it would be 10 days after whenever you submitted it..apparently AADSAS and the ADA had to have a big meeting yesterday to sort things out because they were not on the same page

I'm still waiting on LORs to come in before I click submit. Did your LORs come in yet?

I'm tempted to click submit now just to get the ball rolling on my DAT scores. I don't want my application to be delayed because of DAT processing!

At any rate my LORs should be in before the first mailing anyway, so I should be alright in clicking submit NOW, right?

There is no earlier mailing than the 24th of June right?

I would just do it if I were you. That way you can start getting the ball rolling with the DAT and as soon as your transcripts come in it can start processing and find your GPA (plus if you're like me you're prob checking that app every 5 seconds to make sure nothing is wrong with it 😛)

my LORs are not in yet. i'm waiting on a committee letter and one of the professors who VOLUNTEERED to write me a letter went to the Galapagos before writing it and no one knows when he's going to be back...haha so long story short i'm waiting to see what happens there 🙁

i need his bio letter for Tufts but if its just him keeping me out of the 1st mailing i'm going to have it sent without his letter in it

This crap is so confusing. I was told by UF yesterday that they don't need scores sent from ADA, but Western told me today that I need to have the ADA release my scores specifically for Western. What the heck do we do?!

Sadly I had to use regular mail for my transcripts and LORs.

I would have used express on my transcripts but my university refused to send my transcripts express without a AADSAS department phone number 😕

I paid the $25 fee to release my DAT scores from ADA to my schools of interest. I did this before the DENTPIN debacle/confusion!

this is true. i was misinformed my the ADA about this before the ADA and AADSAS sat down and talked about it together

the reason no one's DATs are up yet is AADSAS is having alot of scores to sift thru, process, and post...they should show soon

I really thought the DENTPIN was supposed to expedite DAT score verification.

Apparently AADSAS hasn't ironed out all the kinks.

Usually it's pretty quick. Last cycle my gpa was calculated the same day they received my transcripts!

Find solace in the fact that this is affecting everyone that submitted early so it's not really negatively affecting one person over another. The best thing to do is to forget about this DAT mess and just get your apps in ASAP! Good luck everyone.

AADSAS told me they don't actually know when the first mailing date is.

4 for 4 on LOE's, and transcripts just got in today. Submitted the app today.. ~$1700 bucks not including secondaries:-(

Oh well.. I applied to a lot because it is cheaper to spend an extra grand getting in somewhere than wasting a year of my life not being there, and not finishing earlier.

you should send it in if your stuff is ready. Your score will get there when u take the dat.

So I am waiting for my spring grades to come out. Should I wait till the 19th to submit my app when i know the grades or submit and send in my transcript after my grades come out. I was planning on overnighting my transcript. What should I do!?!?!?!?!

i recommend waiting for your grades, it might effect your gpa calculations and adding more grades mid processing may slow the entire thing down!
