When are your schedules posted?

How soon does your school annouce the class schedule for your upcoming semester? Are you eager to find out what it is? I'm always interested in knowing how early I have to be there each day and how early we get out on Fridays.

What about your final exam schedule? At my old school we used to know the final exam schedule on the first day of classes, but it's not that way at my current school. We don't usually find out until pretty late in the semester.

I've been nosy at times and looked at what the other student schedules are for my school (pharmacy, PA, OT). 😀 They're posted on the registrar's website.

That sounds like a good way to do things... I wonder if its commonly done this way in pharmacy school?

Our exam schedule was posted this week. I don't know my class times. We'll get reassigned into smaller groups before that happens.

Our schedule get emailed to use pretty much 1 week before class starts, and it's confusing. Last semester it came in 2 separate PDF files and 1 Excel file and we had to match up our own assigned groups and electives. Sometimes they wouldn't match up right. And final exams are to be scheduled during the last week, so we never know. They just tell us to reserve the whole week until friday 5pm. They suck.

Our schedules are e-mailed to us before the end of the second semester of the preceding year. But Butler does something a little differently, there are two schedules that you can choose from and the only difference is that one schedule may have Principles of Drugs Action (PDA) on Monday and Wednesday and the other schedules may have it Tuesday and Thursday.

I scheduled mine online last Sunday. I already knew that I would have anatomy/physiology every morning at 7:30 for the first 2 quarters though. I guess that means I'll have to go running at 6am.... 😀

Physiology is awesome; you should enjoy it...but be careful it is a very detail oriented class.
