When is it acceptable to call programs to ask about interview status? There are some programs that I know are giving out interviews, but I want one too!

I think emailing would be better. But either way, I got a second bolus of interviews in early november. I think mid/late-october is a relatively quiet time.

I would not recommend calling programs. You don't want to be a pest and ERAS has application tracking. If your stuff has been downloaded by a program and your application is complete, you should wait.

Tough titties. You just gotta wait. If you bug them they'll file your application in the garbage.

Its a little too early to be stalking programs yet. If you haven't heard by early Jan/late December, then I would call - unless you know program interview dates and their last one available is approaching.

BTW, some programs rarely answer the phone this time of the year, so email might be the better first contact.
