I got a brochure from this company about them having a booth at AAPMR this week. I can't believe that people are doing SI fusions again. They don't work, and just make people worse!

Has anyone seen ANY peer reviewed literature supporting it? I looked yesterday and couldn't find a thing.

I got it too. Ludicrous. Stop by their booth so you can yell at them

usual suspects - old neurosurgeons that used to do it have been dormant for awhile and now are back at it again

I saw it at the AAPMR assembly about 2-3 years ago. I think I laughed in the vendor's face.

fortunately, medicare eliminated the code for this in 2013, so nobody's getting paid for it.

Surprised they're still pushing it. The surgeons in my area who did a few of these, have all stopped, because they're not getting paid.
