When did you start intern year? Mid-June?

Doing some planning, and I'm trying to get a feel for when most people have to report for intern year.

Is mid-June common?

Ranges wildly from Early/mid June to the traditional July 1st

Also don't forget that orientation activities may occur the week prior to the actual start date. My start date was 6/24, but I had to show up 6/17 for the beginning of orientation.

I had classmates range from June 7 to July 1. The most common date was likely either June 17 or June 24.

I was so hopeful for a July 1 start date and a few weeks of vacation prior to beginning intern year. My school graduates late--June 1. Seems most residencies I'm interviewing at start orientation by June 9 or 15 🙁
