When do d-schools send out rejection letters?

Once d-schools review your application, and don't really want to interview you, do they send out rejection letters right away? Or do they still leave you into a reconsideration pile? Exactly, how do rejection procedures work without and with interview?

in some cases you wont hear anything from a school. if they interview you and you are rejected, you'll probably get a letter.
