When do I need my LOR's in to submit as early as possible? (MD/DO)

I want to apply this year as early as possible. I'm going to be organizing my letters through Interfolio. When do I need my LORs? Do I have to submit them with the primary application? I've read the AMCAS and AACOMAS instruction manuals and they aren't very clear on this. Mainly I need to know what deadline to give my letter writers.

Just tell em may 1st so that the letters will be available by the time you are able to submit your primary app on June 3rd

1) AMCAS schools won't get your application until June 27 at the soonest, as that's the first release day. Schools with Early Decision probably won't begin looking at applications until August 1.
2) No. You can submit the rest of the application, with MCAT score and LORs coming later.
3) A month before you really want them gives you room to resolve glitches, like failure to use appropriate letterhead or signature.
