This question was asked a week ago . . . here's the thread: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=500241
To your credit, a search would be hard to do on this particular thread because the OP titled it "???". 😉

Whats search? What does it do? And why would I want to waste my time there when I could just as easily ask out here and get the question answered? Seriously....This question was asked a week ago . . . here's the thread: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=500241

I 😍 you Rose.
lets say i apply to msucom, they require biochem and genetics, which i dont have. what would they think if i apply and if i get in, i just take it over the summer. should i apply if i would take it over the summer?
Are you talking about taking biochem and genetics over the summer in 09? In that case, if you were lucky, they would give you a provisional acceptance, where you would be required to take the classes and get good grades in order to be accepted. If you're talking about taking them this summer then by the time you interview you should have your grades and you will be able to update schools before they make a decision on your file.
Some schools might not even interview you if you don't have the requirements. Someone here on SDN interviewed at a school that "strongly recommended" Biochem and was waitlisted, so it depends on the school. If I were you I would hurry up and take the required classes so you wont have to worry about them later.
prionsrbad, yeah i was talking about summer 09. Most DO schools don't require biochem so that is why i dont want to take it now, i rather take it in medical school
MSUCOM starts in June though I believe so if you were to matriculate there in 2009 you would not have time to finish those classes over the summer.
