I am no expert on admissions, but i believe that pod schools are looking for a certain criteria that they have set as their minimal cut off. If you meet their criteria, you get an interview, and unless you are a complete shmuck, if you get an interview, you get accepted. For the schools with smaller entrance caps, applying early would probably be best, because they would fill quicker; however, for bigger schools, you would most likely have some less pressure to apply early.
This may sound like a stupid question, but what do you mean by "entrance caps?" Also if there is a way to know or if you know, what schools are considered with smaller entrance caps and large entrance caps?

It is not a stupid question, after all, how would you know what a schools entrance caps are. The best thing to do is to go to the schools individual web sites. Somewhere on the site you will find 2008 entering profile ect...
An entrance cap is the number of students that a school is willing to admit in a given year. For instance, OCPM is a bigger school and they will admit 100+ students on any given year.
