Quick question- I've been receiving interview invites steadily since my application was submitted in september...does anyone have a general idea of when programs stop giving them...ie by when are they all out? thanks guys

Dear TheDude,

Congratulations! As you are well aware, there is a great deal of competition to receive answers to your questions on the Allopathic Medical Student Forum. As a result, we would like to invite you to submit your query to the Pre-Allo forum, where a committee much more qualified/interested in answering your question will be happy to take it into consideration.

My last invitation came in early March for a mid-April interview date.
So, if you applied to too many schools and you already have a lot of interviews, you may want to withdraw from some of your "backup" schools. Going on more than 7-8 interviews is going to be a complete waste of your time and theirs.

i'm a bit confused...how did you interview in april when the match is in march?

You gotta specify whether you're a neurotic premed or a neurotic fourth year... ask the residents.

This is my favorite thread.
