When do scholarship offers begin?

I was accepted to an MD school a few months ago. I'm really holding out hope for a scholarship offer. Does anyone know when you would typically hear about scholarships? (The school is UAB if that helps at all).

Some do it soon. Others wait until after July or so, or even into the school year.
