when do schools receive the august mcat?

there's been some rumors that schools get them before you do, but that's just hear-say. I think the scores are transmitted to schools a fews days after you get them.

I spoke with Dean Norstrom from Loyola yesterday regarding the same case and she said that typically schools receive either same day or day after as students. In Loyola's case she said that if you are on the 'wait for mcat' scenario (you submitted everything and you are complete in september, but took the august mcat) you should hear news within two weeks after the scores are released. This may be completely different at other schools too, so don't get down if you don't hear within the first 3 weeks.
