1. when do we have to commit to a school by? i always thought it was may 15th, but it looks like it's actually april 30th according to the most recent version of the AAMC traffic rules? can anyone comment on this/confirm?

2. also, i emailed a bunch of schools i want to withdraw from and requested they withdraw me...some replied back, some didn't...should i follow up with the ones that didn't reply and make sure that they withdrew me? or can i just assume they withdrew me?

3. last question: what actually constitutes "committing" to a school? I've been accepted to a few schools, and none of them required me to pay deposits. do i just email the ones I don't plan on attending by april 30th and let them know i'll be matriculating elsewhere?

1. Yes - the date was changed to April 30th this year.

2. Yes - I would absolutely recommend calling to confirm that they received your e-mail.

3. Yes - all you have to do is withdraw from the schools you don't want to attend.

Hope that helps.
