I know it is sometime in May...May 14? 15? But do you withdraw through the AMCAS or via each school individually? And it only pertains to your "acceptances," correct?

Oops. Grammar mistake in headline... sorry about that.

Usually May 15thish.

You just withdraw from each individual school. For me, all of them were ok with me just sending them a quick email.

related question: when do schools need to show you a financial aid package?

Whenever their financial aid office gets around to your file. How long ago did you submit your financial aid information?

for each school, my info was submitted shortly before the deadline. I'm just looking for a general answer; I understand that each school operates on its own schedule.

So can we tell schools tomorrow or by like midnight today (the 14th)?

idk if this is strictly relevant to this thread...
but is anyone else frustrated by the fact that schools dont ever email you back, so you dont really have verification that they got your email! I know that seems silly because what would they say, okay have a nice life? But its still kinda stressful because what if you emailed the wrong place/it didnt go through?? Lol just being a neurotic pre-med I guess.

I've been getting "thanks for letting us know, best of luck" responses from most schools. I agree it's stressful when they don't acknowledge your withdrawal, and I think it's totally appropriate to send a polite "just wanted to confirm you received my withdrawal, thanks" follow up email.
