When do you hear back? Creighton, UIC

My top two schools are UIC and Creighton. I have not received an interview with UIC (do I even have a chance of still getting one?), and Creighton does not have interviews...so when can I expect to hear back?

I talked to Dr. Ayers about a week ago and he told me that generally, around the middle of January, they will get roughly 15-30 people who were accepted to Creighton pull out to go elsewhere at which point they will mail out more acceptances which I would imagine you to receive mid to end of January or early February if they chose you. I'm hoping they get the full 30 this year or more! Good luck with Creighton and UIC!

Is it just me or did anyone waitlisted by Creighton not get any notice from them? Seems kinda rude. If you travelled there to interview, the least they could do is send an email informing you of your status. Add Temple to that complaint as well.

I'm confused with Creighton now because last year I applied, received a letter that I was waitlisted, but I never had an interview. There is nothing about interviews on their website. So when did everyone get an interview?

I interviewed at Creighton in October, and I know they started interviewing before that. This is the first year of mandatory interviews.

I heard that they only do mandatory interviews for a little while longer though so hopefully we'll be getting interview invites for those before they stop interviewing for this cycle. I haven't heard anything after confirming that my application was complete...just gotta keep telling myself no news is good news 🙂 for now at least!

Creighton said that you must interview to be accepted this year. You can call Ms Patti and she will tell you that. I agree with their lack of manners though, i interviewed there on sept 24th and never got anything telling me that i was waitlisted until i called.

Dr Ayers is one of the nicest people i have interviewed with. Creighton is def my top choice i hope i get in.
