When Does Cycle Open?

I'm new to medicine (just switched from dentistry), and I'm trying to figure out when the application cycle opens every year for med school admissions. I've been to the AMCAS website, but I still can't seem to find the answer. Can someone help me out here?

This year we could submit apps on June 5th (or 6th, can't remember).

First week of June, the exact day varies from year to year. The application is available in the first week of May, but you can't submit it till then. So you apply in June 2007 to enter in August/September 208.
