It's a very silly question, but I just want to know if I got it right in my head.

So, the DAT is recommended to be taken in one's junior year, right? Is that when you apply? Do you still do your senior year of your bachelor's degree, even if you got accepted in your junior year?

Sorry in advance for a dumb question. Thanks in advance for your responses!

Most take the DAT early summer before senior year and apply at the same time. You want to submit your AADSAS application as early in June before your senior year of college as you can (if you want to matriculate immediately out of undergrad).

The earlier you apply, the better. You can apply in early June when the cycle opens, and before you take the DAT. However, you application isn't complete until your LOR, transcripts, and DAT scores are received.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for answering my question! Now everything makes a little more sense now.

I'm just starting undergrad, you see, so I was trying to see when I would have to start applying.

I was convinced that the "Class of..." threads in the pre-med forum were based on the year that one graduated college, so I was just chilling on a thread filled with people in medical school! 😳
