when does the app process start?

Hello everybody. This is my first question here. I am wondering if anybody knows when the application process starts. All I see posted on the sites are the deadlines, and not when it all starts. I will be taking the MCAT in April and would like to know when I can start submitting the primaries for the entering class of 2007.

If anybody knows the date for the entering class of 2006, could you please let me know because I think they are the same every year.

May 1st or June 1st the year prior to matriculation, depending on which application service you are using.

By application service, do you mean AACOM or AAMCAS? And which date is for which one?

So basically I would have do the primary right after taking the MCAT in April..

AACOMAS is June 1st.

You can apply to all the DO schools except for TCOM via this service.

Actually, yea!

Soon after taking the MCAT I started working on AMCAS and AACOMAS. As soon as I got my scores and saw they were good enough I sent my applications in. It was still early!

I would advise STRONGLY AGAINST waiting for your MCAT score. It takes practically forever for the application to process, and there are always undue delays. You need to get the application sent in prior to the MCAT score being available.

60 days after the test if you take it on paper.

When does the app process start? Freshman year, when you're starting your GPA? End of Junior year when you're taking the MCAT? June when you can submit your primary app or May when you asked your school to send a transcript in support of the primary?

Who knows when it really starts? At birth?
