When I read comparisons and discussions of cGPA,
is it refering to the cGPA of your home undergrad institution?

or is it refering to your GPA as a whole, factoring in other classes such as those from other universities taken over the summer??

As I'm sure you know, mdapps allows you to put in whatever the hell you want to. For some, they may include just their primary institution's GPA, while others might include all of the things you referred to. Then there are those who make it entirely up - so take mdapps with a grain of salt.

cGPA should be a composite GPA which includes all grades earned from all post-high school institutions attended.

I second what FMT said with respect to mdapps, but incase you're referring to med school acceptance stats etc., given from the schools, then I think you should follow AMCAS rules...if we're talking American...I'm from Ontario,Canada so we use OMSAS 🙂
